Hello, my name is Debbie Driggers and I am the sculptor for ZZ Studios, Inc. Our studio is located on a farm in northeast Florida.
I've been an artist and have sketched and loved animals all my life, and have spent much time learning from and about them. I began sculpting in 1997 and discovered it was what I was truly meant to do. Each sculpture is an effort to capture the spirit and personality of the subject, be it wild or cuddly, or sometimes quirky! Realism with much detail, and depicting animals in motion are my favorite types of sculpture to create. Rarely live models are used, but most of our sculptures are created using as many photographs of the subject from as many angles as possible.
Sculpting and caring for our many animals is my passion, but I also sculpt other subjects on a commission basis. We currently produce VERY limited editions in bronze, and of course our stone sculptures are one-of-a-kind.
